Previously through MTBA, membership with Tathra Mountain Bike Club is now through a national organisation called AusCycling.
WHY YOU SHOULD BECOME A MEMBER?
Tathra is a family-friendly club, that offers a variety of riding opportunities in and around Tathra. In addition, the club runs races and social rides for riders of all ages and abilities.
As a non-profit organization run by volunteers, the Tathra MTB Club is responsible for design, development and maintenance of the Tathra MTB trail network.
So if you would like to meet fellow riders, experience racing in a fun environment, improve your riding skills and explore local trails, we want you.
TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP
There are many types of membership to suit racing and recreational riders.
Your membership comprises two parts: AusCycling and Tathra MTB Club membership. There are categories for competition and categories for recreational/social riders.
Both categories include insurance to cover you when you are involved in club activities such as races and social rides. In addition the policy covers you for your general cycling activities 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
FREE TRIAL MEMBERSHIP
A trial membership for any age or discipline for anybody who has not had an AusCycling membership in the last 3 years. Valid for 4 weeks.
ONE DAY EVENT LICENCE
$35 AusCycling single event / race membership
SEVEN DAY EVENT LICENCE
$60 AusCycling event/race membership, not affiliated with a club
COMPETITION – “Race Off-Road” Membership
All attendees of Tathra MTB Club races and rides must be insured against injury. A competition membership comes with the required insurance for club rides and also for events with other AusCycling affiliated clubs.
It saves you having to buy a one day licence for races or rides.
19-64 years Race Off-Road
$190 AusCycling+ $25 Tathra MTB Club Membership
Concession 65+ Race Off-Road
$145 AusCycling + $25 Tathra MTB Club Membership
Junior 13 – 18 Years Race Off-Road
$145 AusCycling + $15 Tathra MTB Club Membership
Dirt Master 8 – 12 Years Race Off-Road
$85 AusCycling + $5 Tathra MTB Club Membership
2 – 7 Years Race Off-Road
$60 AusCycling + $5 Tathra MTB Club Membership
SOCIAL/RECREATIONAL – “Lifestyle” Membership
19 – 64 Years: $115 AusCycling + $25 Tathra MTB Club membership
All other ages: $85 AusCycling + $25 Tathra MTB Club membership.
This membership carries sufficient insurance to attend official Tathra MTB club social rides without needing to buy a one day participation licence.
You will still need to purchase a $35 one day licence each time you participate in a club race.
